Renovation and rehabilitation

We preserve value before we add the new

Renovation projects deal with an existing building that carries technical and operational constraints and a history that must be understood before any intervention. So the work starts with documentation, reading the condition, and setting priorities, then choosing suitable solutions and materials and delivering them in inspectable stages.

The proposed path

  1. Document the current condition and record observations and sensitive elements

  2. Coordinate architectural, structural, and material studies where needed

  3. Prepare an intervention scope that separates repair, protection, and replacement

  4. Carry out trial samples before expanding into sensitive works

  5. Document materials, methods, and changes during execution

  6. Prepare a handover file that supports maintenance and future conservation

Heritage buildings

Work on classified urban heritage sites is performed only after the required permits and approvals are secured, in cooperation with qualified offices, consultants, and specialists, and in line with the requirements of the Heritage Commission and the relevant authorities.

Academic partnerships support this path in studies, documentation, understanding traditional materials, and training. They do not replace the statutory permits.
